The Steam sale finished today and over the week I spent over $160 I didn't have after Christmas on games I didn't need. They really know how to get your wallets open with deals you just can't pass up. For that money I managed 28 games (2 gifts) and saved over half what I would have spent at regular price.
Speaking of which, a site called
SteamCalculator can calculate what you have spent and what you have saved. It is no where near accurate as I manually calculated my total purchases based on my profile and it's almost one quarter what the website claims, but it sure looks impressive.
