Movie Computer Interfaces, Who Makes Them?

Gizmodo has a short blurb on Mark Coleran, one of the people behind many of the computer interfaces that you have seen in blockbuster movies. It would have been interesting to see what he uses to create these mock ups, if it was pure coding or some sort of visual construction kit. A draw to shell alternatives is the ability to design this type of futuristic interface, but none have given freedom that allow this type of design.

I want this guy to go work for Microsoft.
