MiniNova Gone Legit

As many have no doubt noticed, MiniNova in accordance to the ruling by the Court of Utrecht, has switched to legal torrents only. While many are poo-pooing the whole idea, I decided to browse through what was available and came across a band I likely wouldn't have even looked at had it been surrounded by a boatload of regular pirate torrents.

Deathlizer is an independent thrash/metal band following in the footsteps of Metallica and Pantera. Their EP is available for free via the new MiniNova and while they are a little rough around the edges, they show promise. Now if the singer would just save the Hetfield falsetto for the covers...

There's something to be said for the independent artists here and I for one hope MiniNova turns out to be a cash-positive resource to them.
