Linux Gaming News has an
Interview with a few of the makers of the PC horror series
Penumbra. While many of the questions are Linux driven, it does have some interesting tidbits on their production and sales. An interesting point within was concerning how the
Steam sale of the series filled their coffers much more than the retail releases, even at the low price point it was offered at. Also of note is the 3000 copies sold to the Linux crowd over a $5 weekend sale - Linux for the sake of Pete. The series is a small title relatively speaking and it shows that PC owners, even Linux-driven PC owners, will pay for a quality game.
