First Sub $100 Quad Core CPU

AMD has RoShamBo'd Intel (or at least given them a solid noogie) by producing the first $100 Quad Core CPU dubbed the Athlon II X4. While the big 'I' is still kicking ass in the enthusiasts market, AMD is happy to gobble up the larger casual and office market share by offering more reasonable solutions. While the X4 is not going to top any benchmarks, it is far cheaper, uses less energy, and in large companies the benchmark is measured in dollars.
