It reminds me of the old C64 days which is nostalgicly pleasing, but it would have made an interesting Fallout 3 Mod with some clever level design and voice over.
DarkFate - An interesting pixel-lite adventure
Kevin Soulas has created a small adventure-platformer called Darkfate that follows the protagonist through tundra, dark caves, mountains, and ruined cities in a quest to remember who he is and why he's here. The only adversary you will find is gravity and an occasionally hard to follow level design due to the low-res graphics, but it was an enjoyable diversion for it's short duration. The music is fantastic and it can be downloaded from the homepage, I only wish there was more of it. The screenshot is in French, but the game can be downloaded in English as well.
